First Ride Part II

28.7 miles... From Rainier to Lacey and back. Nice weather and not much traffic since today was a work day for most. In hind sight... 28.7 might have been a little long for the first ride out.

Dusting off the bike shoes and blog site

Washington State has been doing it's best to keep us 'casual' bicycle riders indoors next to the fire. Today is Earth day and WA has seemed to let up a little on the cold and wind. We might reach 60 degrees for the first time in April!

I feel like such a wimp not getting out sooner to ride. We missed a few good days because we had other stuff going on but most of the time we would step outside and chicken out. That changes today though. Joanne, Shannon and I will get a ride in today. It will be somewhere around 30 miles. I'll be adding a speedometer to my Bike Friday after I finish this post. Need to check the air pressure and make sure all the nuts and bolts are tight.

If still feels cold outside but we not leaving for another 90 minutes, more time to warm up!

We miss you Mike, you'll have to let us know if you had a chance to spin the tires on the CCR lately.

We are looking at a high around 50 today in the Pacific Northwest. I'm not complaining, I AM WHINING :)
